      IndiaSkills is the Government of India’s flagship skills competition programme and the country’s largest platform for identifying, nurturing and celebrating excellence in vocational skills.  The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) as its implementation and Knowledge Partner, IndiaSkills serves as the national gateway for participation in WorldSkills and showcases the capabilities of India’s youth across emerging and traditional trades. As India positions itself as a global skills capital, a strong, recognisable and aspirational brand identity for IndiaSkills has become increasingly important.

      To strengthen brand recall, deepen youth engagement and create a lasting visual symbol for the movement, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) in collaboration with MyGov invited citizens to design Official IndiaSkills Mascot.

      Evaluation Criteria

      1. Creativity & Originality - Uniqueness and innovation
      2. Alignment with IndiaSkills Values - Reflection of skills, innovation and Viksit Bharat
      3. Visual Appeal & Recall - Memorability and attractiveness
      4. Concept Clarity & Storytelling - Strength of narrative and symbolism
      5. Adaptability & Usability - Use across digital, print, animation and merchandise
      6. Technical Quality - Professional execution and detailing
      7. Inclusivity & Cultural Representation - Respectful representation of diversity

       

      Gratification

      The winner will be rewarded with free Autodesk software licence, being facilitated through Autodesk as a skill partner in Graphic Design Technology

      The winning mascot shall be adopted as the official visual ambassador of IndiaSkills and used across events, campaigns, merchandise, digital platforms, outreach material and international representation.
