Office of Development Commissioner for Handlooms, under the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, is celebrating the 9th National Handloom Day on 7th August 2023 to generate awareness about the importance of the handloom industry and its contribution to the socio-economic development of the country and also to popularize to use Handloom.
On the occasion, a competition on Competition to Show your love for Indian Handlooms through video reels is being organized on MyGov platform. In this contest, Indian citizens are requested to submit a link to a video reel (created by their own) about their liking, love, and feelings towards Indian Handloom, which is already posted by them on their social media account.
