Working alongside the NDRF, Army, and state authorities, CRPF personnel reached the worst-hit districts like Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Pathanamthitta, and Idukki. They used boats, helicopters, and on-foot patrols to evacuate people trapped in submerged homes, including elderly citizens, women, and children. The CRPF also set up and managed relief camps, distributing food, drinking water, medicines, and blankets to affected families.
