On 15th August every year, the Prime Minister speaks from the ramparts of the Red Fort and lays out the government's programmes and policies. Over the last few years, the Hon’ble Prime Minister has directly invited ideas and suggestions from citizens for the Independence Day Speech. Similarly, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their inputs for New India. So, now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallize your vision. PM Narendra Modi may pick up some of the ideas in his speech on 15th August.

Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, Here are 4 key ideas for your Independence Day address: Jai Anusandhan (Deep-Tech R&D): Focus on making India a global leader in homegrown AI, Semiconductor manufacturing, and Clean Energy technology. Nagrik Kartavya (Civic Duty): Launch a national drive encouraging citizens to practice civic sense, protect public property, and keep local water bodies clean. Smart Agriculture: Bring AI soil-testing, drone farming, and global export channels to small-scale farmers. Grassroots Youth Skilling: Introduce AI and practical vocational training in schools across Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns for Viksit Bharat 2047. Submitted by: Neeraj Sharma

As India moves towards the vision of a developed nation, development must reach every citizen, every village and every neighbourhood. My humble suggestion is to launch a “Jan Bhagidari for Viksit Bharat Mission”, making citizens active partners in planning, implementation and monitoring of development programmes.

Honorable modiji. We have seen phenomenal developments in recent years. But are these developments are suitable for our ecosystem. How eco-friendly are our ancient palaces ,forts, temples and towns were.A large water tank in every town which was a perrenial source of water even in drought situation.Blind copying of west have dumped our wisdom in planning to a corner. Hills are razed to the ground destroying natural slopes for flow of rain water. Forests are destroyed causing soil erosionand drying of rivers.Sad is they are being continued even now.Atleast from.now on let the planing be based on ancient Indian principles both in choice of material an vastu based structure.Let them carry a special incentive when planing and execition is sustainable and eco-friendly. Let us see a new method evolve in planning based on ancient principles. Regards, Dr RMShenoy Mangalore

Grass root level corruption is a major issue in our society. At panchayat level, block level & district level there have been no work without bribes. Make a policy for corruption free society at grass root level.

ToThe Honorable Prime Minister of India,Shri Narendra Modi Ji.Respected Sir,Subject: Request to announce a national initiative on August 15, 2026, for the widespread benefit of students.I respectfully request you to announce and implement a nationwide initiative in all government and private schools on the upcoming Independence Day (August 15, 2026).The initiative proposes that every Monday, immediately after the morning school prayer, a 4-minute song highlighting the "Value of Books" (Pustakam Viluvalu) must be played or sung.Implementing this practice will yield significant benefits:It will actively foster and cultivate a strong interest in book reading among students. It will effectively reduce the growing and harmful addiction to cell phones among the youth.Thank you, Sir.Yours faithfully,A. VenkateswarluAuthor of "Pustakam Viluvalu Geetham" (The Song on Value of Books),15/969, Venkatramapuram,Nellore City, SPSR Nellore District,Andhra Pradesh, India.Email: indiaatozaddress2@gmail.c

Suggest we start one to one programs in schools colleges in harnessing faith trust leadership for tomorrow. Atmanirbhar, atmabiswas have remained in the inner verses of speeches, now have to creep I to texts, young turks be mandated to learn one philosophy through Sanskrit or any one of 26 Indian languages and one more language like English. Canton, Spanish, Russian, German, Japanese, Korean to start with in school college. It is useless for those who drift away from science to be graduate in elementary studies of current times that never pay. This is the single largest gap in the society where from millions come having little or no value , unable to maintain a decent social being unto themselves. They are unable to judge as their parents had been. Let us harbour this society into more meaningful eventually through intervention at regular intervals from Policymakers to the Nation. Hence we need another face, another body that thinks , frames policies. Bengal need to change

PM Ji, In your Independence Day address on 15 August 2024, you emphasized the importance of standardization and urged that Indian standards should evolve into global benchmarks. As a follow-up, could you kindly share the roadmap and progress achieved so far in this regard, and how these efforts are contributing to nation-building? It is important for citizens to understand the tangible benefits that standardization brings in terms of quality, efficiency, competitiveness, ease of doing business, and public welfare. Greater awareness of its impact will help build confidence in India's growth journey and encourage wider adoption across industries and institutions. Furthermore, our education system should proactively align with these standards so that the next generation develops a strong foundation in globally relevant practices, while contributing to India's ambition of setting world-class benchmarks rather than merely following them.

PM can suggest having a discussion about a "neutral caste". As prime minister had suggested to surrender the LPG subsidy and people had given up their subsidies for the larger good of the country, people need to also surrender their castes to a neutral cast which can be named as Bhartiya so that the coming generations of that person can officially right on any form about their caste as Bhartiya and they won't be considered as of low or high caste, they will be simply be a neutral caste, there by pioneering cast neutrality. It may take 100 or 200 years more to achieve this but we should start somewhere.

Pradhan Mantri ji, Our civilization has always been deeply connected to our rivers, and we feel that connection intensely. However, the condition of the rivers flowing through our cities has deteriorated to the point where many have effectively become sewage channels. Please give our rivers a new lease of life through your able leadership and vision(we need Namami Prabahini like Namami Gange). We cannot clean and revive our rivers without addressing waste management in every small city, town, and village. Clean cities and living rivers must go together.
