On 15th August every year, the Prime Minister speaks from the ramparts of the Red Fort and lays out the government's programmes and policies. Over the last few years, the Hon’ble Prime Minister has directly invited ideas and suggestions from citizens for the Independence Day Speech. Similarly, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their inputs for New India. So, now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallize your vision. PM Narendra Modi may pick up some of the ideas in his speech on 15th August.

Dear Mr. Modi, Greetings. Your actions are truly excellent, and your administrative capabilities are praiseworthy. I take great pride in having you as the Prime Minister of this country. There is still much work to be done for the nation, and a priority among these tasks is the care of the elderly. In my town, for instance, there are many people over the age of 60, and a significant number of them live in rented homes. With their physical strength declining, it is difficult for them to earn enough to provide for their basic food needs. Many are left with no means to survive—unable to afford rent—and are forced to live on the roadside. I humbly request you to consider this situation and make arrangements for those over the age of 65 who live in rented accommodation. Specifically, I ask that they be provided with a small, permanent cottage for shelter, a reliable source of food, and a monthly allowance of ₹3,500—granted unconditionally and based solely on their age. Thank you very much

Respected Prime Minister, India's gen Z is one of the greatest strength of India. India needs more political speakers and representatives from the youth of the country. Following the rape cases i still urge the prime minister to introduce capital punishment bill in the parliament as now it has become a necessity. The constant neglect to these cases increase the confidence of such rapists. We need a better judicial system there are more than 5.1 crore pending legal cases. We need to bring justice to these people. Also we need to introduce to implement a system so that india becomes a slum free Bhaarat. Mumbai being the financial capital of india faces a lot of issues from such slums and lets not forget the never-ending constructions and pending work leading to traffics and delays . Sir we need a corruption free india and a free education india. India spends way too less of the budget on education even though the majority of the population is the youth.

These points can be included : 1. Independence - does not only mean freedom from foreign rule , but has multiple dimensions which can be explored , for Viksit Bharat . Independence of people from Patriarchal mindset Independence of people from Colonial mindset Independence of people from Westernisation Independence of people from social prejudices Independence of people from Communal mindset Independence of people from Traditionalism Independence of people from all kinds of social evils - concerns of nuclear families Independence of people from laziness -need for skill development Independence of Youth from Distractions of all kinds Independence of people from Selfish thinking - need to think of nature and humanity at large 2. How India is achieving these goals, breaking the barriers - examples from Space tech., Navy , Sports (commonwealth , cricket ) , women leading, textiles, yoga

I believe that India's greatest strength is its youth. If every student receives quality education, practical skill training, and career guidance from school itself, our nation can become even stronger. Along with this, improving government hospitals, supporting farmers with modern technology, creating more employment opportunities, encouraging innovation and startups, and protecting our environment should continue to be national priorities.

Urgent Proposal for a Specialized Central Fund and Pricing Scheme for SMA and Ultra-Rare Diseases Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, I am writing to you today as a concerned citizen to draw your attention to a critical healthcare gap affecting the most vulnerable children of our country: those suffering from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and similar ultra-rare genetic diseases. I deeply appreciate the government's National Policy for Rare Diseases (NPRD) 2021, which provides financial support of up to ₹50 lakh and waives customs duties on imported SMA drugs. However, life-saving therapies for SMA (such as Zolgensma or Risdiplam) cost between ₹4 crore to ₹16 crore. The current ₹50 lakh cap covers only a fraction of the cost, forcing parents to rely on crowdfunding—which often falls short and takes too much time, costing precious lives.

India's Gen Z is the nation's greatest demographic strength. On the occasion of Independence Day, I urge the Government to launch a National Gen Z Mission focused on future-ready skills, AI and digital literacy, climate leadership, entrepreneurship, research, and civic participation. Every young Indian should have opportunities for internships, innovation challenges, startup incubation, and global exchange programmes. Establish a Youth Policy Lab in every district to involve young people in governance and problem-solving. By investing in the aspirations, creativity, and leadership of Gen Z today, India will build an innovative, inclusive, and globally competitive Viksit Bharat @2047.

Respected Modi Ji, The children of the general category are also the children of India, carrying the same dreams and hopes as every other citizen. Yet for more than a decade, they have silently endured the heavy burden of reservation, watching opportunities in exams and jobs slip away despite tireless effort and sleepless nights. Their merit often goes unseen, their talent unheard, and their spirits broken. We humbly plead that support should rightly reach the poor and needy, but those already uplifted for years should not continue to benefit while others are left behind. Today, countless general category youth feel abandoned, their futures clouded with despair. Kindly give them fair ground to rise, to prove their worth, and to serve the nation with dignity and pride.

Today, we celebrate India's Independence Day with pride and gratitude. We pay tribute to the brave freedom fighters whose sacrifices gave us the gift of freedom. Independence is not only a celebration of our past but also a reminder of our duty to build a stronger, united, and prosperous India. Our nation's strength lies in its diversity, democracy, and hardworking people. Let us work together to promote education, innovation, cleanliness, and harmony. I urge every citizen, especially our youth, to contribute to the nation's progress with honesty and dedication. Together, we can shape a brighter future for India. Let us always respect our Constitution and uphold the values of unity, peace, and equality. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳
