One of the key priorities of the Government is to provide a non-adversarial and a responsive tax administration with the main objective of creating an environment conducive for achieving higher investments and growth. At the same time the focus is also on ensuring ease of doing business for the taxpayers. For individual taxpayers, Government endeavours to promote voluntary compliance by making compliance easy and reducing the cost of compliance for the taxpayers. These steps are aimed to ultimately result in buoyant revenue collections, reflecting higher growth, leading to higher standard of living and better quality of life for the citizens.

The Department of Revenue invites taxpayers and general public to provide innovative ideas and suggestions on tax policy and administrative issues with the objective of ease of doing business and reducing compliance cost for industries thereby facilitating buoyancy of revenue and increase in investment leading to higher growth.

To get Land acquisition, we must get land owner's confidence. Easiest way to get is promise them to reserve certain percentage of land for the benefit of local people.Like starting factory(sugar factory)/cold storage (for fresh vegetable) godowns (grains)etc. in the area of the farm product. Even Mall will give them opportunity to start new business

Arthakranti is reported to have made a presentation to the PM regarding the tax laws in the country. It made a lot of sense to me. The government needs to study its implications and decide on its implementation.

Over eight months are gone but I got no response. Number of time I requested to meet DST authorities but they did not given me even 2 minutes .These are books which can make INDIA superpower in fundamental laws of physics. I have worked on the topic at expenses of family. I have over 90 invitations from abroad.

should be total exemption for Sr. Citizens who do require Govt.'s help and assistance in solution of their tax problems. This must needs be cast a sympathetic consideration rather than tightening the noose around their necks. If citizens feel happy, then only the Govt. could thrive and prosper. The proverbial saying, "If the indigent people shed their tears, this will be compared to a sharp Sword" which may prove to be disastrous. With regards,

discrminatory and dispassionate view of things rather than rushing through amendments. If the aim and purport of the tax officials is to squeeze more money like crushing the honey bees, then, it is not a conducive step towards progressive growth. The revelation of bank accounts should only be open to big companies, corporate sectors, etc. and not especially to pensioners who are eking out their livelihood through their hard earned money over four decades or less in Govt. service.

payment of D.R. after crossing 50% i.e., Transport allowance, etc.
3) There should be voluntary disclosure scheme for large tax evaders like foreign unaccounted money, etc.so as to ensure voluntary tax compliance.
4) Albeit promises are let out, the tax net around the honest tax payers is tightening its noose. I can't understand why the Bank Accounts of individual tax payers should be revealed in the I.T.R. form that has been set in motion from F.Y. 2015-16. Either, there should be a more

grouping them into Sr. and Super Senior which is ludicrous. Over and above the age of 60, all should be accorded equal treatment rather than dividing them into various categories. All should be accorded equal tax relief treatment to the same quantum and extent.
2) Especially, in the case of Pensioners, they should be given more tax reliefs as many of them may be in the category of hand to mouth after retirement. As in the case of serving employees, the Pensioners are not entitled to the

Sir, With all humility, I'd like to give the following suggestions in the formulation of tax policy for the ensuing fiscal year, viz., :-
1) The tax policy should aim at moderate taxing. For example, as promised by the F.M.last year, the exemption limit for individual tax payers should be hiked to Rs.5 lakh and for Sr. Citizens to Rs.6 lakh to compensate the spiralling inflation rate.
2) For Sr. Citizens, they should be taken care of on pari passu. I can't understand the rationale behind

Insurance agents are working day and night to earn their bread, taking service tax from customer as well as from agent is like looting from a begger. So Govt should stop taking service tax from poor agents.
Business people evade tax by showing expense and lose in their business,so there should be correlation between industry performance and tax,ie if Construction sector performed well in that year there should be a minimum tax slab for construction business men considering their business size
