Hi ji, it's a great initiative. By drawing the festive and culture in walls. Promoting adds in Facebook, YouTube, Instagram. Mainly in every school and colleges on that particular festival in particular region they spend 1 hour on that day by celebrating and understanding our tradition to the younger generations. So in future, they will nourish our tradition. Then making short films on these festivals.

Ganesh Utsav celebrated in different parts of Maharashtra ( especially Pune - Disciplined way to worship Lord Ganesh as per tradition) and also Gokulashtami in Maharashtra ( Dahi Handi celebrated by different Trusts / Mandal with training areas of Lower Parel and Worli & Thane following those, Maharashtrian New year Gudi Padwa Yatra Celebrated in small town Dombivali near Thane, The total organised yatra from Ganesh temple at morning 5am till after almost 1pm is awesome with Social themes and traditional wear and culture mixed with different contest held at local level. Best way to welcome new year , awesome rangolis at Ganesha temple in crowd celebrating in Maharashtrian traditional wear and salutes to the organizing local committee Still celebrating those small festivals but prominent cultural activities gives a feeling of unity in diversity.
Also Uttarayan is the festival celebrated in different states differently and most enjoyed in Gujarat in a unique way for almost 2 days.

I am from madhya pradesh that is also known heart state of country due to its central location, but beside that,it's culture also a big contributer for it's heart state image. As, mp culture blessed with various languages (Bundeli,bagheli, nimari ,malwi)different folk dances(khada nach,mataki,jawara)different folk theater art(maach,hingola)various paintwork (jeeroti,chitravan,mandana)different fairs(simhastha (ujjain)but beside that there are various unknown fairs, festivals which is only known by a few people of specific region as,tejaji fair in guna,kanababa fair in sodalpur harda, and various other but now they lost their identity and become history.Mp also blessed with highest tribal population and their unique culture which added a very special flavor in mp culture.

(1)Firsty. promote regional culture by engaging local youth of that region because if youth feel connection with that then these festivals will get new modern touch with it's traditional way .
