- The Info and data security should be supported by strong legislation AND data centers should not be out of Indian borders.
An e-sign facility provided in the Digital locker is not user friendly. so administrators needs to make it more user friendly and easy to understand.
Indeed one of the important requirements of this era, but most important is the Authentication process. It should be like, once the document is uploaded it should be in draft mode (UN-authenticated) until-unless it is verified by the portal admin/concern plus the document provided agency. Once the document is in verified document folder, It should be acknowledge that the document/degree is authentic. or something like that..
Every agency who is giving any legitimate document like SSC, HSSC, Degree, Diploma, Masters Degree - Certificates to citizens, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, EPIC election Card, Edu. Institute ID card, Driving License, Vehicle RC book, GAS Card, Ration Card, etc..has to be updated/delivered to the citizens Digital Locker by the Department/Agency/university/board directly from Govt., based on Aadhaar Number. It will facilitate citizens to get the Documents from Government directly to Digital Locker.

All certificate issued by Government Agencies, Degrees by Universities should be mandatory uploaded in Digital Locker & there should be tool for Agencies to verify the same from the Digital Locker.
i don't have adhaar card, but i have pancard and voter id. please add signup option using pan card and voter id also

Yes.. we can make it better by making it compulsory to the institutions/agencies/banks/organisations/departments/university-admissions/schemes/ISPs/vendors/retailers whoever wants to have the copy of the Certificates, documents from citizens must use this service ONLY to get the details, they should not insist to submit xerox copies in physical form, then only we can have the better use of this service. Unless this happens/enforced as mandatory it is not going to be useful to citizens.
As we have Digi-locker and other online services which contain personal and sensitive data of citizen,Do we have foolproof technology/expertise to safeguard and counter cyber attacks ?
