India is among 51 countries to sign the “Rome Declaration” on “Achieving Self-sufficiency in Safe Blood and blood products based voluntary non-remunerated donation”. Blood is an intrinsic requirement for health care and proper functioning of the health system. National AIDS Control Organization under Department of Health and Family Welfare has been primarily responsible for ensuring provision of safe blood for the country since 1992. National Blood Policy 2003 reiterates firmly the government’s commitment to provide safe and adequate quantity of blood, blood components and blood products.

However, in India, a needy patient or his relatives have to run from pillar to post in search of blood and the onus of procurement of blood still lies with the patient and not with the service provider.

Suggestions are invited on how to develop a nationally coordinated and well networked blood transfusion service in the country and reach 100% voluntary blood donation to enable us to meet the global goal of self sufficiency in blood and blood products.

Respected Sir,
I am totally against these private hospitals, when they charge HUGE amount of money to life threatening diseases. they should charge fees on the curable diseases but should me a community work for those who cannot afford.
I think GOV should come up with small clinics in each streets to give medical facilities to each and every citizen and lower the kiosk at big Gov hospitals. People with cold and aches are lined up at big hospitals because of which serious patients cannot

Sir, if govt provide all doctors of the country accommodation or house rent allowance, i tnk doctors can b motivated to work for poor people n also in villages. Bcs hospitalisation is a big burden on poor people. This step can save lot of money n income can rise. Sir more esi hospitals shoukd b opened in remote areas. Sir, in the unorganised sector of mfg, workers r not covered under esi scheme. To avoid labour laws it is being done. Employer should b encouraged to cover all workers, think abt t

SIR now we are still backward in self knowledge lackness, so we need to abolished community wise development i.e; most of the top level workers are lazy people(they are getting jobs in priority basis, so could realise their duties and responsibility). so they could not given correct explanation to that our people. Further, that reason wealth are gathered same people. Our government good scheme could not reach the downward people. So,sir further you have take the steps to that.
