The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in collaboration with MyGov invite artists, designers and students from across India to create a mural that visually celebrates the country's renewable energy journey, to be showcased at the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026, being held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from 2nd to 5th November 2026.

The Summit will bring together the 9th Session of the International Solar Alliance Assembly and the 4th International Conference on Green Hydrogen under one platform, drawing policymakers, industry leaders and innovators from across the globe. The winning mural will form a permanent visual backdrop of this landmark event, telling India's clean energy story to an international audience. The mural should be inspired by India’s vision of becoming a Viksit Bharat by 2047, depicting a futuristic and sustainable nation powered by renewable energy. It should vividly portray the theme of “Green India 2047”, showcasing innovation, clean energy, environmental stewardship, and inclusive growth. For more information, please visit: https://www.mnre.gov.in

      Technical Parameters

      1. The mural design should be conceptualized for a large-format wall/backdrop display, with a suggested canvas ratio of 3:2 (landscape), scalable to the final installation dimensions specified by MNRE.

      2. Digital submissions must be in JPEG, PNG or PDF format, with a print ready layered source file (AI, PSD, or CDR) to be provided by the winner.

      3. Minimum resolution of 300 DPI at actual print size, or a minimum file dimension of 6000 x 4000 pixels if scaled down for online submission.

      4. The design must be created in CMYK colour mode to ensure print accuracy; RGB entries may be asked for CMYK conversion if shortlisted.

      5. All fonts must be converted to outlines/curves; no editable text should remain in the flattened submission.

      6. The artwork should be free of any watermark, signature overlay, or border framing, and submitted in full colour.

      7. The design must be suitable for adaptation to secondary formats — standee, backdrop panel, and digital display — without loss of visual coherence.

      8. The file should remain crisp and non-pixelated at 100% magnification.

      Gratification

      1. The winner will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 5,00,000/- along with a certificate of recognition issued by MNRE. The winner will also be reimbursed for round-trip domestic economy class airfare to New Delhi.
      2. Next Top 5 winners will be awarded with prize money of Rs 10,000 each.

      ### Harit Bharat, Viksit Bharat 🇮🇳🌱 My mural design presents a realistic and contemporary vision of India’s renewable-energy future, where **clean energy, economic development, technology and environmental responsibility move together**. The artwork brings together India’s major renewable-energy possibilities through a single visual story — **solar power, wind energy, hydropower, green mobility, electric vehicles, sustainable cities, water conservation, recycling and community participation**. The natural landscape and modern infrastructure are intentionally shown together to communicate that development and nature do not have to stand against each other. A key focus of the design is **people’s participation**. Citizens from different generations are shown contributing to a greener future, representing the idea that sustainability is not only a government responsibility but a shared national mission. From planting trees and protecting water to adopting clean transportation and re
