The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), in collaboration with MyGov, proposes to organise an essay competition as part of the 12 Years of Make in India campaign.

The initiative will invite citizens across India to share their perspectives on India’s journey under Make in India over the past 12 years and reflect on the opportunities and possibilities that lie ahead.

The essay will provide a platform for citizens to express their views and experiences on India’s evolving manufacturing and innovation ecosystem, the growth of Indian enterprise and entrepreneurship, the contribution of skills and talent, and India’s increasing engagement with global markets.

Participants may also reflect on how the spirit of Make in India can contribute to India’s future and help strengthen the country’s journey from Made in India to Made for the World.
