The Office of the Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India (ORGI), in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens across India to participate in the "Census Pulse – Reel Challenge".
The challenge provides an opportunity for participants to creatively spread awareness about the importance of Census 2027 and its vital role in supporting evidence-based governance, inclusive development, and better public service delivery. Through engaging and informative short reels, participants can help educate citizens about the significance of Census and encourage greater public awareness and participation.
Participants are encouraged to create original reels highlighting themes such as Digital Census, Self-Enumeration, the role of Census in national planning and development, inclusive growth, the importance of accurate information, and data privacy. Reels may use storytelling, animation, interviews, visual creativity, or informative presentations to effectively communicate these messages.
This initiative aims to inspire citizens, students, content creators, and digital influencers to become ambassadors of Census awareness by creating engaging content that promotes the value of accurate data in nation-building and informed decision-making.
Submission Guidelines:
• Create an original reel of 30–60 seconds on any of the suggested themes related to Census 2027.
• Upload your reel on a public social media platform such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or X.
