Akashvani (Prasar Bharati), in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens across India to participate in a Signature Tune-Making Contest on the theme “Akashvani @90- The New rhythm of Bharat”.

Theme: The New rhythm of Bharat

Objective: To design iconic instrumental themes for specific Akashvani programmes that reflect their unique content and audience.

Target Programmes:
1. Yuva-vani / Sports Scan: High-energy, rhythmic.
2. Market Mantra: Professional, tech-forward, sophisticated.
3. Family Welfare / Women’s Programme: Melodious, warm, empowering.
4. National Magazine (Sahitya, Sanskriti, Chitra, Vigyan, Yuva Bharati): Culturally rooted, intellectual, and inspiring.

Duration: 20 to 40 Seconds.

Audio Composition: Instrumental Only. No vocals or humming permitted.

Format: Studio-quality MP3 or WAV (minimum 128kbps, 44.1kHz).

Judging Criteria:
1. Atmospheric Suitability: Does the music match the programme's mood?
2. Instrumental Excellence: Quality of composition and arrangement.
3. Versatility: Does the tune work well for both intro and outro.

Gratification:
1st Prize: ₹30,000
2nd Prize: ₹20,000
3rd Prize: ₹10,000
10 Consolation Prizes: ₹5,000 each.
