INTERACT WITH NITI AAYOG ON THE UNION BUDGET, 2016: #AskNITI

The premier think-tank of the Government of India, NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India) provides crucial directional and policy support to the Centre as well as State governments. On the release of the Union Budget 2016, NITI is pleased to announce that we will interact directly with citizens of the country.

The live interactions with public will take place through MyGov Talks in collaboration with Google India, on March 2nd and 3rd, 2016.

On March 2nd at 3:30 pm, NITI Aayog Vice Chairman, and noted economist, Dr. Arvind Panagariya, will unfold the many intricacies of the Union Budget and explicate its real impact on various crucial sectors of the economy.

This is the first of its kind, one-on-one interaction of NITI’s experts with the public on the Budget, and will focus on what the budget means to the common man. The live talks have been scheduled soon after the Budget release, so that experts heading the policy think tank of India can elucidate to people the its provisions, along with the short and long-term possibilities and challenges it poses for India.

Besides providing an exclusive, expert perspective on the Union Budget, Dr. Panagariya will also take questions directly from viewers. Questions may be posed in advance, and through the duration of the talks on both days, also via NITI Aayog’s Twitter and Facebook page. The talks can also be accessed on the NITI Aayog website, www.niti.gov.in.

What are the steps taken to double the income of farmers and how does united e-market work? Same time I am happy that my idea regarding e-marketing united software all over India was submitted i 2014 and is approved and I saw it is replicating in 2016 budget thx for this Modiji..

sir,small business tax payer follow expensive accounting procedure to ascertain payment of tax,if we keep option for tax payer lump sum amount whichever is higher as per turnover and margin of profit fix table,declared by self maintain purchase & sales,tax payer will be happy from accountant,audit,& time consuming formality,impact will be more collection of tax & with new tax payer,so also will reduce corruption from harassment and notices.

Respected Sir,PM Modi had made promises that the selection process will be reviewed and cancelling the interview process for the group c vacancies is the Everest mile stone in this way.NOW GOVERNMENT should also make clause that all the qualification of the candidate will be counted in the merit formation for the job.As this was promised in the BJP manifesto and PM speech.And the candidates with higher qualification will be selected on the preferential basis so that qualification can get respect

Thanks for the great budget and rural focus.Can we promote rurban in a big way and promote several thousand smart villages instead of funds for smart cities and give tax exemptions for new service and manufacturing industries to be set up in rural areas, which will prevent migration,create jobs, reduce cost of service and manufacturing and allow India to remain competitive.Urban focus will make india uncompetitive due to high cost of living from high rental real estate prices and high salaries

Since all the employees are paying the income tax through their office with the Drawing and Disbursing Officer of the office being responsible for it, I could not understand why the employees have to file returns separately again increasing the burden on them apart from increasing burden on separate section in Income tax office to deal with their cases. It will be better if the income tax department utilizes their employees for income tax collection from non employees avoiding duplicity of work.

Huge scope for Study in India and Heal in India, which can be the thrust areas in future.Please eliminate unwanted regulations/Jurisdiction requirements for delivery of online and distance learning in a massive way for skilling and educating Indians at least cost.Please increase MBBS and PG Seats across india, so that MBBS passed practice and dont sit at homes and study for Medical PG EXAMS.Without specialist doctors cost of health care is unaffordable, opportunity for medical tourism is lost

(01)Russia imposes flat income tax on all incomes.Please impose flat 10 or 5 tax on all incomes including agriculture. Provide agriculturists subsidy or cash back but tax them.It is the only way to have legitimate money (02)Municipalities or local bodies need to be centralized to follow certain standards or rules like building walkers pathways having machine to wash or clean roads or streets (03)Steps taken in Budget to stop air and noise pollution?

There is huge opportunity to reform higher education and make people all over the world to study in India.Quality of education need to be improved.Question paper setting and evaluation should be by external examiners as done in UK universities.Internal marks to be counted to be eligible to sit for university exams and not to be counted in Overall marks for credibility. Promote online education like NPTEL in big way and allow students to obtain certificate/diploma/degree and PG by NPTEL exams

India needs to impose tax on american products and companies as a protest against american aid to pakistan which is directly or indirectly misused to promote terrorism in INDIA. The money so got need to be used for modernizing defense. India need to be offensive and not defensive. Economic sanctions must be imposed on pakistan. budget is not using financial means to further Indian interests
