Onus of waste segregation cannot be left to individuals since its impossible to educate entire population in correct methodologies. A public-private partnership firm should implement it in a professional manner. It can be a success only if it is linked to a terrace garden program so that wetwaste manure can be utilised locally. An MOU should be signed with houseowners so that terraces can be used to grow vegetables in abundance. Each pincode can have a selfsufficient CLEAN N GREEEN PROGRAM.

Sir, solar thermal power is much cheaper and more useful in reducing pollution. The govt of India has plan to produce 100 GW solar electricity by 2022. Will the Govt plan about installing Solar Thermal plants for kitchen-use in rural and urban areas ?

Since the above said goods are NOT hazardous waste the same needs to be redefined in the rules. Industry needs complete relief from obtaining NoC from MoEF for import of refurbished / Used Electronic / Electrical products and assemblies.

The MoEF NoC regime continues on the import of used / refurbished Electronic & Electrical assemblies / products, which are being considered as “hazards waste”, then the Industry foresees..Impact on Foreign & domestic investments, which are lined up in R&D, Defense, Communication, Manufacturing and Education space. Jeopardize the government vision of ease of doing business & skill development.Impact on direct and indirect employment opportunities & tax revenue to the government.

Sir.Distribution of 7 watt LED bulbs at Rs 93,by Govt of India scheme, has been a great success in reducing electricity load and pollution. It would be even more useful to distribute 16 watt LED tube lights at about Rs 200/piece in reducing electricity load and pollution. Will the Govt PLAN to do so?

We also need a better solution of #e-waste. As the consumption of smart phone touches sky high in our country, we are not that much careful about our old ones. And when D-Day comes for those phone, it is not being dis-mental in right way, and lots of toxic like led, etc goes in land water, and that water become useless then after. Same thing with other parts of computers, and others. We have to follow the international standers to reduce that effect ! #SmartSolution #Emipro

Development today means increase in pollution, what is the purpose of development where we cannot breathe fresh air and inturn we can see the effect on climate. Today countries with recession are more safer than the developed and developing nations. People in developed countries are richer, so if the money is more then the wastage of resources is more, more industries, more cars, more airconditioners, more refrigerators, more electricty usage-finally leading to climate change.Lot more to write..

I admit wholeheartedly the sincerest effort by MoEF & MoP. The mandatory measures on Energy Efficiency, Conservation and Water Conservation which are to be taken by all Govt. Departments and Educational Institutions under the guidance by either MoEF / MoP can be thought of. Students can see real life applications of Clean Power, and we may get some flashing ideas about further improvement. A team of Volunteers (selection etc. shall be done Centrally,)may shoulder the responsibility.
