We do not object to you linking directly to the information that is hosted on this web site and no prior permission is required for the same. However, we would like you to inform us about any links provided to this website so that you can be informed of any changes or updates therein. Also, we do not permit our pages to be loaded into frames on your site. The pages belonging to MyGov must load into a newly opened browser window of the User.

PRIVACY POLICY

This website does not automatically capture any specific personal information from you (like name, phone number or e-mail address), that allows us to identify you individually. If you choose to provide us with your personal information, like names or addresses, when you visit our website, we use it only to fulfill your request for information. To participate and engage with government through MyGov requires your registration. Information so collected is used to facilitate interaction.

MyGov conducts many Quizzes, Hackathons, and Contests in collaboration with Ministries and Departments. The personal details of the winners can be shared with the Contest Creators/ Collaborating Departments. The names of the winners, without any Personally Identifiable Information, can be used by the MyGov Team and the Contest Creator/ Collaborating Departments for display in public by means of Electronic/ Print Media.

MyGov do not sell or share any personally identifiable information volunteered on this site to any third party (public/private) except for the winners as explained in para above. Any information provided on MyGov will be protected from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

MyGov gather certain information about the User, such as Internet protocol (IP) address, domain name, browser type, operating system, the date and time of the visit and the pages visited. MyGov make no attempt to link these addresses with the identity of individuals visiting our site unless an attempt to damage MyGov has been detected.

COOKIES POLICY

Content Review Policy (CRP)

The content of MyGov shall be reviewed by the content team at MyGov. However, the content creators at Ministry/Department/State levels would also have the privilege to review and send revised content to content publishers, if required.

As a general rule:
The entire metadata repository shall be reviewed in a phased manner over a period of six months to ensure the currency of the content.
Rest of the content shall be reviewed every three months. This includes the following sections:
Groups, Do, Discuss, Poll, Talk, Podcast, Blog, MyGov in Media, About Us, Associate with MyGov, Terms & Conditions, Contact Us, Help, FAQs, Link to Us.

Security Policy

MyGov takes all steps possible to ensure that the data on the platform is accurate. If something is found to be inaccurate MyGov will make every effort to correct said information as quickly as possible. If it is found to be an inaccuracy with the entire system MyGov will work swiftly to correct the problem so that your web experience is as trouble-free as possible. The information contained on MyGov is subject to change without prior notice.

Contingency Management Plan

The MyGov putting all efforts to be functional and running at all times to provide information and services to the users. All possible efforts are being made to minimize the downtime as and when it’s mandatorily required for scheduled/planned maintenance activities. In eventualities like defacement/hacking of the site, data corruption, hardware/software crash and natural disasters, all efforts will be made to restore the site in the shortest possible time.

Website Monitoring Policy

Web Properties are monitored periodically in accordance with the plan to address and fix the quality and compatibility issues around the following parameters:

Performance: Site download time is optimised for a variety of networks tested for this.

Functionality: All modules of the are optimally tested for their functionality.

Broken Links: The web properties are thoroughly reviewed to rule out the presence of any broken links or errors. A number of tools and techniques are applied to detect the broken links, if any.

Traffic Analysis: The site traffic are regularly monitored to analyse the usage patterns as well as visitors’ profile and preferences. Traffic Analysis tools also help with reports on broken links.

Feedback: Feedback from the visitors is the best way to judge a performance and make necessary improvements. A proper mechanism for feedback analysis is in place to carry out the changes and enhancements as suggested by the visitors.

Content Archival Policy

MyGov activities through do, discuss, poll, blog, talk etc. shall be archived as per approval of the competent authority and, which will be available on the archive section at https://www.mygov.in/mygov-archives/.

Content Contribution, Moderation and Approval policy (CMAP)

Content needs to be contributed/created (using the predefined metadata) formed by any of the authorised contributors in a consistent manner to maintain uniformity. In order to present the content as per the requirement of the viewer, and to retrieve the relevant content efficiently, it is required to contribute the content on MyGov through its content management system. Contributed content is moderated and approved through the predefined workflow having relevant roles to access, create, moderate and approve content created. Finally, Content is published by MyGov Publisher only.

MyGov App Policy

COVID-19
The MyGov App is not capturing, accesses, collects, uses, or shares personal or sensitive user data related to COVID-19. We are only showing covid related information like

  • 1. COVID Stats - Total Number of Cases, Active Cases, Discharge Cases
  • 2. Vaccination Stats like: Total Number of vaccination done
  • 3. COVID certificate download through registered mobile number on CoWIN (Uses CoWIN Api’s)
  • 4. Vaccination Labs location along with slot availability status

APP Permission
CAMERA: MyGov requires access of camera for capturing photo/image at the time of activity submission, or to add/change profile photo.
RECEIVE: Push Notification:-  To send notifications and other Broadcast messages from MyGov notification system to users device
Biometric permission is used for locking MyGov App.

Report Profile
MyGov takes all steps possible to ensure that the data/profile on the platform is accurate. If something is found to be inaccurate user can report profile and we’ll review the reported profile and block his/her account to improve user engagement.

Block Profile
if you find anything inappropriate in someone's else profile then you can easily block them. Afterwards , the submission/comment/profile of that person will not be visible to you and that person also will not be able to see yours submission/comment/profile too.

Report Spam
MyGov takes all steps possible to ensure that the data on the platform is accurate. If something is found to be inaccurate user can report comment/submission as spam and we’ll review the reported spam comments and remove these spam comment from system.
