Ministry of Cooperation

The Ministry of Cooperation works to strengthen the cooperative movement and enhance its role in economic development, focusing on transparency, modernisation and computerisation of cooperatives. It provides a separate administrative, legal and policy framework for strengthening the cooperative movement in the country, with priorities including 'Ease of Doing Business' for cooperatives and expansion of Multi-State Co-operative Societies, in pursuit of its vision of 'Cooperation to Prosperity.'
