The Soil Health Card Scheme was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in 2015 to assess the nutrient status of every farm holding in the country.

Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India in collaboration with MyGov has organized the ‘Swasth Dhara Toh Khet Hara’ (स्वस्थ धरा तो खेत हरा) campaign on the occasion of World Soil Day (December 5, 2024) for all citizens to express their views on the importance of soil conservation.

‘Swasth Dhara Toh Khet Hara’ highlights the vital role of soil health in supporting ecosystems, agriculture, and overall well-being. By protecting and improving soil health, we all contribute to sustainable food systems, biodiversity, and climate resilience.
