Once the Khadi industry get support from the market the industry will have enough financial support to do more research and innovation to keep itself updated with the fashion trends and will attract  public in large. We just need to give initial push through a movement later the market will start supporting khadi industry and will sustain on its own. Khadi department under the Ministry of Textile may come out with more innovative  ideas to start this movement through social media so young generation get connect to legacy of khadi.
