yes, Registration of Births, Deaths and Still Births in India is mandatory with the enactment of Registration of Births and Deaths Act (RBD Act), 1969 and is done as per the place of Birth.
3) Aadhar should be generated automatically, parents aadhar should be linked automatically
4) Hospital should be able to provide the certificate or the document should be generated centrally and sent via trackable registered post to parents address, with sms notification.
5) Birth Certificate should be delivered to digi locker directly.
6) Should be able to request changes if any easily.
Panchayats should be able to provide recourse if birth happens at home with help of mid wifes
1) All Maternity hospitals needs to be linked to a centralized system.
2) As soon a child is born, it should be hospital responsibility to register the information directly in the system ( Currently in TN, the info is sent to Municipal office, which takes it own time, then parents has to visit the center to provide the information , which is again cross validated against the information sent from hospital and after two weeks, we need to
New Aadhar to be given to each new born & linked that to his/her birth certificate.
Time for Birth & Death Registrations to be enhanced to 60 days & should be made MANDATORY. If violations found, all Benefits, Subsidies, Bank / Insurance / PF Nomination, etc. to be cancelled & Govt. to take-over or confiscate.
1)FOR BIRTH CERTIFICATES-All Maternity & General Hospitals to be linked to District Medical Centers. Similarly, all District Medical Centres to State Medical Centres & all State Medical Centres to Central Agency, where all Child Births to be Registered & Aadhaar should generate Automatically based on birth of the child. 2)FOR DEATH CERTIFICATE-All Crematoriums to be linked to District, all Districts to State & all States to Central Agency. ALL BIRTH & DEATH REGISTRATIONS SHOULD BE AADHAAR BASED.
Application for duplicate birth certificate and death certificate should be made available to the users in online mode through internet and duplicate copy be sent to their requested address by post.
