if present govt is serious about development for all, why it is not taking action against officers who are breeding/encouraging/promoting litigation in govt at the cost of public money. legal sections have been established in a number of ministries only to arrange for huge payments for government advocates, instead of trying to reduce/eliminate litigation, which is creating roadblocks in work of economic progress. penalise officers encouraging litigation or work of govt will be stalled.

Tax Reforms - Augmenting income is important for better expenditure Mgmt.
1. Tax all FD's at Maximum rate unless declared by individuals that their income is within slabs.
2. Make sure all Service providers with licenses (Doctors/Advocates etc,.) file returns without fail.
3. Extend Point 1 to all sources of income without PAN/Returns Declaration.

Sir, Thanks for oepning such type of machinery atleast the citizen of India can put his views on public forum. 1) One MLA approximately having 5 to 10 crores, one M.P atleast 10 crores imagine how many mps and MLAs present and past.2) Make the paper currency out and give more importance to make electronic transactions.3) Try to utilise the services of ARMY in building a heavy bridges during peace time.4) Why do waste one department of Income tax deduct the income tax like service tax.

Bank Deposit Machines

If we make a priority list of the Projects necessary for development the top priority will stand for (i) Freedom from hunger (ii) Freedom from disease (iii) Freedom from unemployment and (iv) Freedom from ineducation. The proposed automation “machines for depositing money in accounts” may find place somewhere towards the end of the list. Besides the least priority it may open many other windows of confusion at the place of work.

If I ask an Autoriksha driver how much you are paying in taxes to Government ? he says I do not pay anything. Whereas his daily consumption of petrol of Rs 1000/- he is paying at least 500/- daily to the Government. Why not take it from him directly by abolishing or reducing much of INDIRECT TAXES ? It will also entail a sense of responsibility in him - Even Illiterate citizens will vote responsibly if Government asks for taxes directly. Democracy should be based on Direct taxation of the peopl

for every 100 rupees worth of business 40 Rs goes to Government in the form of Central Excise / Service Tax / Central Sales tax / Octroi / LBT / Entry tax /toll tax etc etc. Even the profit margin of the manufacturer industry is not that high - Why so much of INDIRECT TAXES ? Agreed everything runs on tax payers money - then Why not tax ALL citizens DIRECTLY under INCOME TAX - atleast they will know how much they are contributing to the Government. Indirectly taxing citizen is like pickpocketing

Sir - Could not locate "Public Revenue Management" on your website. Why Revenue is always taken for granted ? As and when required - TAXES are levied / increased. Can't there be a law for States as well as Center to fix a MAXIMUM limit of tax ? Say for example any Government Center or State CANNOT levy tax on Petrol exceeding 10% - Does this make sense ? Otherwise Governments have till date always thought that money grown on trees. Sorry for being too harsh & Rude.

HUGE SAVING IN CRORE IN PROCUREMENT OF LUBRICANTS BY MINISTRY OF DEFENCE, RAILWAYS, ROADWAYS, ALL GOVT INDUS CAN BE DONE BY ADOPTING TRANSPARENCY PROJECT, WHICH IS AN ALTERNATIVE TO E TENDER.
IN THIS PROJECT GOVT CAN CONTROL QUALITY & PRICE IN THEIR HAND. THERE WILL BE NO INTERMEDIATOR IN THIS PROJECT. ALL RAW MATERIAL FOR MAKING LUBRICANTS IS SUPPLIED BY GOVT COMPANIES. SO NO NEED OF TENDERING.
SAVING OF GOVT FUNDS WILL BE IN CRORE. IF PRINCIPALLY AGREED THAN WE CAN SEND THE DETAIL PROJECT.
