TO acheive World Class Education for Chandigarh and establish an eg to be followed by other cities of India, we need to devise solutions which bring on ground changes.
Target low hanging fruits first- Key area which needs phenomenal improvement is Teacher - Parent communication. Two key pillars of nations future (children) are working in silos. Enabling the collaboration of the two will result in synergies, that has the potential to be far more transformational than any other reforms.

This is in reference to news in media that Chandigarh Housing board is planning to auction 123 acres of land of Pride Asia Project
For Residential Societies.
I hereby bring to your notice that said land can be used for more important Project like Institute of National Importance than making just residential Societies. One option can be IIM- Indian Institute of Management. As IIMs in Punjab and Haryana are faraway. So UT of Chandigarh needs its own IIM.
Land in Chandigarh is scare.

There should be  regular academic inspections in schools. There should  be Cctv cameras in classrooms and the monitoring  should be done by officials of education department. Skill development should be a compulsory subject. Students should be given training of Computers in schools.Sports academy should be  open in all the government schools

It is a FACT that some (maybe old) teachers impart outdated or even INCORRECT knowledge to students. Students should be encouraged to verify whatever they have studied on the internet, and if there are discrepancies, there should be grievance redressal mechanisms in place for the students to lodge complaints about such teachers. Similarly, for doctors (govt or private) who prescribe wrong medicines or treatments, patients should be able to verify it from the internet and lodge complaints.

The quickest, most efficient and time/money saving methods would be those with the least amount of human involvement, or in other words, the maximum usage of technology. All record making in hospitals and education institutes should be digitized ASAP, which will help with surveys and instantaneous information retrieval. Schools and colleges should be encouraged to organize 'Each One Teach One' clubs which take charge of a community and stick with it throughout, rather than periodic sessions.

PGI and PB UNI.is already doing world class work but no audit of mushrooming of private teaching institutions and hospitals just exploiting masses for their selfish motive.Ensure good causes like blood donation are well utilised rather than going to drains.
