Health professionals(Surgeons,Dentists)are also at high risk for getting infected with HIV as occupational hazard. There must be a policy for health professionals exposured to HIV. By doing this, those professionals who accidentally gets exposed to HIV will readily report their exposures and will take ART.It will also help in building database for occupational exposures as well as infuse confidence in health professioanls for giving quality treatment to patients without fear of contracting HIV.
Target Primary Health Centre for rural areas and hospitals for urban areas. Ensure that all patients who come in for any complaint will be screened for HIV. With minimal budget, we can find many asymptomatic or subclincal carriers and thereby making available the treatment needed at PHC too.
Let HIV tests be freely made to every patient who is attending a PHC for the first time and also to those who have suspective history or symptoms. By this, almost all people will be covered for we have ensured that almost every place has a PHC there. And treatment must be monitered like we are doing for DOTS for those who are not compliant.
Every pregnant patient, irrespective of her HIV status, will be tested when comes for her Ante-Natal checkup. Let us implement the same to all patients coming to a hospital, irrespective of age and gender, who come for any complaint to be screened for HIV.Unlike what we did for polio, routine house to house visits for surveillance maybe difficult here. But still surveillance to give special attention to high risk areas will be beneficial.
Pls ,put the solder recruitment in Kashmir under "pilot project" the community they belong to can't trust they can fight to us in the long run and support to Pakistan as a battalion of Kashmir with our weapons and welcome pak army from behind, community they belong do every work for their religion and become more religion supporters as get literate and prosperous..

Dear Sir,I am a doctor involved with management of People Living with HIV.Following changes in the system will go long way in improving the situation.
1.Voluntary Counseling & Testing Services need to be strengthened in a big way.Even in hospital like AIIMS, infrastructure for providing counseling services is very poor and people are discouraged to go ahead with services.
2.Antenatal women are still not fully covered by testing. They need to be tested, identified & given ART to save newborns
Government must remove restriction of Iodine Salt and allow public to take Salt of their choice. For more clarification Visit http://www.chordiahealthzone.in
Sir,
In all the health related plans and campaigns, one key person is always overlooked.
One, who is the custodian of medicines, manages drugs, dispenses them to patients. And that person is a Pharmacist.
Pharmacists play a key role in health sector, yet, he is always overlooked. There is no promotion for him. Things have come to a position that no Pharmacist advises anybody to become a pharmacist.
Govt. must make full use of potential of Pharmacist in all health plans and schemes.
> Early detection of PLHIV can only be achieved by continuously broadcasting/telecast symptoms associated with HIV infection.
> The number of PLHIV identified should be taken note before and after advertising in all hospitals across India
> The lab facility is very poor in most of the rural area should be upgraded with the help of private and public partnership.
