Start Date :
Mar 29, 2017
Last Date :
Apr 26, 2017
16:00 PM IST (GMT +5.30 Hrs)
Under the provisions of the Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Act, 2015 and Rules made thereunder, the Central Government is considering to auction coal mines for commercial mining. ...
I think it might increase the accidents rate... Safety should b assured first....
Sir, any accidents caused due to negligence or lack of measures of protection should be thoroughly investigated and offenders should be taken to task and strict punishment should be given. Safety and security drills and mock drills should be made mandatory and strictly implemented and thoroughly followed up.
Assurance in writing with self declaration should be received
from authorized signatory that any violation of law, rules and
regulation will lead to cancellation of license.
Sir, before granting license, environmental concerns needs to be
addressed properly. It should be conveyed very strongly that any
violations of laws, rules and regulations will not be tolerated
by any means and at any level. Laws regarding compensations to
workers in case of accidents leading to injuries or death should
be spelt out in clear terms and strictly implemented. Safety and
security measures need to be regulated and strictly adhered in
letter and spirit without any compromise.
Dear Sir, with reference to methodology prepared by you, I suggest commercial miner should not have full flexibility to decide pricing and selling strategy , third party should be involved to avoid monopoly , and it should be with full transparency.
Secondly political parties / gundsa or should not allowed to participate . person participating in bidding should be with clean background.
India has very much natural resources it has to be used efficiently to grow up our industry as well as economy
the auction of coal mining can be carried out taking into consideration that the natural resources are to be used effectively for the commercial purpose, also the government should grade certain companies based on their financial aspect and allow them to be a part of it.
India is widely known for its natural resources , it is required for us to plan its use efficiently such a way that it can be used for many decades and also find alternative ways to use it in a innovative way i.e use it in less quantity but with great benefits.
Natural Reasources are limited in our country and the population is growing in a higher pace.Looking after the requirement of coal for commercial purposes should be taken care by the government and the auction can be carried on.
