HBM4 semiconductors can be manufactured in India which are used for data centers. Self reliance in data centers hardware is necessary in India. A Atmanirbhar in data centers hardware is necessary by 2030. Hardware should be manufactured in India to fight external import shocks due to wars.

I urge the Government to make EVs the preferred and, wherever feasible, mandatory choice for corporate employee transportation, especially for large companies, IT parks, GCCs and industries with high-volume commuting. Millions of employee-transport kilometres are travelled, making this a powerful opportunity to accelerate India’s clean-mobility transition and reduce pollution. The Government could support this through incentives for EV fleets, faster charging infrastructure at corporate campuses, and clear EV adoption targets. Banks should be encouraged to offer longer-tenure, lower-interest vehicle loans specifically for EVs, reducing the upfront burden for fleet operators and individual buyers. Having seen EV-based employee mobility work at scale, I believe employee transportation can become a catalyst for India’s EV transition. Cleaner daily commutes can help build a greener India.

Many rural schools have students who want to play but do not have adequate playgrounds or sufficient time for sports. Could a national initiative encourage schools in rural and semi-rural areas to provide accessible community sports spaces and ensure regular sports periods for students?

Renewable energy - I would suggest to split the country/state/district/city/town/village into zones based on income. Install dual systems based on wind and solar power generators in lower income economic zones. For medium income zones provide subsidy to install dual systems based on wind and solar power generators based on cluster areas that can cover 20-50 houses in one go. For high income areas mandate the installation of dual systems based on wind and solar power generators. Town planners need to do a better job by ensuring to create localities in organaized ways and not in low lying areas to avoid flooding. Use the electricity generated otherwise for industries exclusively. Indulge the public (by giving education and techniques how to build) and government in building small nano dams on rivers and tribulets.

To provide the best education in India, the system must shift from memorization to practical, skill-based learning. Key changes include upgrading teacher training, bridging the digital artificial intelligence divide, and focusing on early childhood growth. Core Changes Needed • Move away from rote learning: Stop forcing kids to memorize facts. Teach them how to solve real problems and think on their own. • Upgrade teacher training: Train teachers often. Help them use new digital tools and modern teaching methods. • Focus on early years: Invest heavily in early childhood education so young kids build strong reading and math habits early. • Add practical skills: Teach computer use, financial literacy, and vocational trades alongside regular subjects. • Fix the rural gap: Provide steady internet, electricity, and good computers to schools in small towns and village. with regard T G Murali M.Sc., MPhil B.Ed. chemistry Retd Professor ATRIA Bangalore 560065
