“Deshke Utsav” Is a campaign brought to you by the Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the Government of India. The Utsav Portal website, a digital initiative developed ...
A less known place of district Bijnor pin code 246701 Uttar Pradesh is a very stong belief of people , Devi Sita , wife of Raja Ramchandra of Ayodhya took Dharti Samadhi at the place. A very small temple is available without any ' Murti' shall be explored, devlop and built as a Dharmik place of historic importance and be categorised in Spritual tourism place of national level . Message shall be shared with global indian and other countries citizens by creating website and other IT tools and resources. It highly suggested to this will transform, and create sustainable development of the area in cultural, social and economic sectors.
Festivals contribute immensely to feelings of social cohesion. Many such celebrations focus on cultural or ethnic topics and seek to inform community members of their traditions. They involve community elders sharing stories and experiences; setting templates for maintaining unity among families. To begin the awareness we must start right from the root level. By root level I mean Schools. (A)Our textbooks must mention these festivals. ( B) The schools and colleges should celebrate or at least talk about these festivals. (C) Students must be asked to research and come up with creative ideas.(D) History and significance of these festivals must be explained to the students.(E) The Government must put hoardings of these festivals in public places.(F) Fairs should be organised by Government to highlight these festivals.
India fairs, culture festivals are highly governed by our existing and ancient Dharmik everyday activities eg puja, path , Utsav, Vrat and much more and is well documented in every epic literature eg Ramayan, Mahabharat, Gita, Purans, Sahita, Shastra , Veda etc. Idea and suggestion is to create a group to retrieve all such events from literature and upload on website to reach masses in India and also to global community.
A lesser known Hindu festival " Pola ". Since India is an agrarian economy we need to appreciate and honour their festivals too.
Innovative is to look beyond obvious. let us bring the essense and purpose of the tradition. like ganesh chaturthi is a public forum to socialise and ray for the wellness of community. it's the thought of community first and we are part of it.
let's theme himan aspects of the celebration. let's rebrand it with himan aspects
Now, people are busy by wasting their time on social media and just making various excuses by saying 'time nahi hai'. These story-telling traditions will vanish one day. Instead of copying foreign culture we should try to read about such traditions and also promote its values among upcoming generation. Our country is full of variety of Literature, Art and creativity. Just read about such traditions in your free time and realise it's importance too.
Stories are the best way to preserve our cultural heritage & cultural values.
Few examples are Harikatha, Chitrakathi, Villupaatu, Yaksha Gana & Kathaprasangam
you are governing the nation well
you are governing the nation well
