In order to design an interoperable ecosystem of data, applications and processes, there is a need to formulate a policy for the Government Organizations to provide Open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The “Policy on Open APIs for Government of India” has been drafted to encourage formal use of Open APIs in Government Organizations. This policy sets out the Government’s approach on the use of “Open APIs” to promote software interoperability for all e-Governance applications & systems and provide access to data & services for promoting participation of citizens and other stakeholders.

You are requested to provide your inputs on the policy and suggest implementation approach across the government.

Dear sir, Mai Bihar ke East Champaran Raxaul ka rahne wala hoon mera ghar station ke pass mai hai wahan station par roj 2 se 3 malgadi se clincker aata hai jisse roj wahan pollution hota hai or wahan se hume apne ghar par jane ke liye bahut taklif uthani padti hai waha ka jeevan aaj kal bahut narak ho gaya hai wahan ka parsasan or railway vibhag kabhi iska solution nahi nikalte hain.sabhi paisa khane mai lage hue hain.please sir aap is par thoda sa gaur kariyega kyonki yeh chota sa kaam hai..

हमारे देश मै विकास के नाम पर अरबो रुपये खर्च कर दिये जाते है मगर वहा पर होने वाले विकास कार्य घटिया होता है ओर तो ओर जनता के रुपयो को सम्सान , कब्रिस्तान ,दरगाह ओर मन्दिरो मै ओर बिना मतलब केअतिक्र्मण मे रुप्ये खर्च हुए... जरुरत कि चिजो का तो पता हि नहि ........

महोदय वर्तमान में कितने ही मंत्रालय कार्यरत हैं इनमें एक मंत्रायलय जिसका नामकरण नहीं है वह सब मंत्रायलों में विद्यमान है जिसका नाम है तबादलाउद्योगमंत्रालय यह सबमें सर्वश्रेष्ठ हैमंत्रीगण नौकरशाह तबादलाउद्योग से अरबों के वारेन्यारे कर रहे हैंमहोदय कर्मचारियों/अधिकारियों का ओनलाइन विवरण अंकित कर उसे उसके हिसाब से कैटेगरी दीजाय और हर एक को उसका पालन करना अनिवार्य किया जाय हर तबादला आदेश में उसका पिछला पूर्ण विवरण अंकित रहे जिसे हर वक़्त सार्वजनिक किया जाना चाहियेtransfer में भी डाटा, ओन लाईन रहे।

Honourable PM, I would like to request you to introduce online voting during elections for the people of India who are living in other countries. Due to many reasons like work, education etc, it will not be possible for the people to vote who are living abroad even if they are willing to. IT should be noted that Indians around the world follow the politics closely and this process must be introduced to safeguard their right to vote. An online portal will be very helpful in this regard.

Go on "The Cloud." And as it is Government stuff, make it Private Cloud. Using service APIs of cloud computing (providing PaaS) is one of the best option. We'll have to design an open API that is robust and easy to use. Access can be provided in multiple ways -- a Web UI (for those who have Internet connection) and Terminals with Virtual Machines (at places like Post Offices for rural population). All Government Organizations can use this API and extend its functionalities to meet their needs.

A mobile phone app that enables citizen volunteers to provide real-time feedback to the government about the prices of essential commodities in their respective areas. This information will help the government in identifying trouble spots and taking timely steps to combat inflation
