The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) was notified by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) vide Notification No. D-17/113/2017-E&PW on 5th December 2018, to regulate the functioning of entities engaged in Vocational Education and Training.

In pursuance of the mandate of NCVET, the ‘Guidelines for Recognition and Regulation of Assessment Agencies’ have been formulated by laying the objective, foundation principles & approach, structure, proposed models of assessment for recognizing and regulation of Assessment agencies under NCVET.

The Guidelines is posted on the public domain- MyGov portal, to solicit comments/suggestions, if any, from the public/stakeholders and all are requested to convey their suggestions/comments on the Guidelines latest by 18.10.2020.

There are online fraudsters including websites, apps, banks, financial institutions, etc. Regulatory body shall mandate that:

: OTP for each online transaction shall be mandatorily required. Any online txn. without OTP shall not be permissible.
: OTP message must contain requested amount to avoid undue deduction from customer account.
: Bank must provide facility to set amount to restrict for online transaction.
: App shall seek confirmation to avoid auto deduction of amount after OTP auto-read
